Thank you for visiting my website.

Music started in my mother's womb as my aunt came over to practice for auditions.  Piano came at around three and flute at eleven.  It's been many years of studying this thing we call music and after all this time, its mystery is what keeps pulling me in.

These days, most of what I do is experimenting with new ways to make flute sounds.  After years of classical training (M.A. New York University, B.M. University of Colorado at Boulder) I find joy in allowing myself to create sounds that would normally be considered ridiculous.  I believe that the flute still has much potential that has not been realized.
